Hicksville first baseman Lúcio Román had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Ogallala Octopi, 10-6, in 10 innings. With the win, Hicksville improves its record to 2-1.

Hicksville used the timely hitting of Pat López to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hounds on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Hounds manager Art Manning.
