Gross Nabs PA- Most Valuable Player Award

At the age of 21, Bobby Gross of the Hudsonville Flanderses could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2063 was good enough to win the center fielder the USPL Low A Most Valuable Player Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .338 batting average this year, as well as a .403 on-base percentage. He played 95 games and racked up 128 hits, 35 doubles, 3 triples, 24 home runs, 59 RBIs and 61 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Fernando Castro of the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 finished second in voting, while Mauro Moreno of the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish finished third.
