Sonny O'Mulrooney Gets MVP Trophy
Saturday, September 23rd , 2062
The manager of the Hudsonville Flanderses said he thinks Sonny O'Mulrooney is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 20, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2062 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the USPL Low A Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .365 batting average and a .478 on-base percentage this year. In 56 games he piled up 76 hits, 19 doubles, 6 triples, 20 home runs, 58 RBIs and 49 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Claudio Vargas of the Hudsonville Flanderses finished second in voting, while Allen Wright of the Beaumont Crossbeaus finished third.
