The Germantown Uruguayans picked up a win at Titans Ballpark, downing the Crowley Cajuns, 4-3. On the mound for Germantown was left-hander Carlos Ramos, who played a pivotal role in the win. The loss puts Crowley at 1-2.

Germantown used a clutch hit from Mark Blankenship to get the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Uruguayans ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"I can't say enough about Carlos," said Germantown manager Jamie Scott. "He stepped up when we needed him."
