Kennesaw Beats Grim, 4-1

Rickey Montgomery, who is tied for 2nd in the PA in complete games with 2, had a strong outing for the Kennesaw Jets against the Grim Reapers at The Coffin. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Ralph Green nailed down the save. The loss makes Grim 31-31.
Kennesaw used the bat of Vincent Green to get the win. The second baseman spanked a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Jets ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it altered the outcome.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Montgomery.
