Hounds Hang 5-3 Loss on Uruguayans
|
The Hicksville Hounds defeated the Germantown Uruguayans, 5-3. Left Fielder José Muñóz deserved a large share of the credit. Muñóz was 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Hounds. Picking up the save was Raúl Guzmán, his 1st. With the win, Hicksville elevates its record to 2-2.
Muñóz had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth to put Hicksville in front, 3-1. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly off Germantown pitcher Zane Wiggins.
Muñóz called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
