The umbrellas came out during the Crowley-Shady Side contest at Titans Ballpark.

The Crowley Cajuns trumped the Shady Side Zoomies, 6-4, at Titans Ballpark. Crowley first baseman Al Gross was terrific. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Ryan Hall earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record is now 1-0. Gerard Johnson picked up the save, his 3rd.

The Cajuns got a big hit from pinch hitter Gregory Gálvez. Facing Shady Side pitcher Jesús Moreno in the bottom of the sixth, Gálvez pounded a 3-run home run to right-center. His 1st home run of the season put the Cajuns ahead, 5-2.

"I like the roll we're on," said Crowley manager Bill Wallace.

After losing, Shady Side is 2-3.
