Arryns Capture Close Win
The Lake Erie Arryns eked out a 3-2 win versus the Chicago Tula at Arryns Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Mick Ditka. He was terrific. The Tula, at 35-29, have lost 7 straight games.

The Arryns got a clutch hit from right fielder Mike Evans. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Arryns.

"Every loss stings," said Chicago manager Don Pokorski. "This one is no exception."
