The Cage played host to some real drama.

The Delmarva Gallos, despite a fine performance by Cut Off pitcher Brandon Whitney, grabbed a 3-2 win in 14 innings at The Cage. Whitney allowed 2 runs over 6.1 innings. Doug Holland was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-5. The losing pitcher was Melvin Hanna.

The Gallos got a clutch hit from designated hitter Patrick Ferris. In the bottom of the 14th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Gallos.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Cut Off manager Miguel Aguilar.

With the victory, the Gallos record stands at 28-37.
