Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Francisco Rivera, the Huntington Hermit Crabs defeated the Eugene Vandals, 7-4. Rivera went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk for the Hermit Crabs. With the win, the Hermit Crabs improved to 35-30.

Huntington took a 7-4 lead on Eric Conley's 7th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Conley hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Eugene pitcher Rubén Sánchez visibly frustrated.

"We take it day by day here," said Conley, "and today was a good one for us."
