The home crowd had a good time watching the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish and Philadelphia Liberty U-21 get after it.

Chuck Goodman powered the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 to a win over the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish. The final score was 8-6. The Philadelphia center fielder was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Alan Sanders picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Dale Petherbridge suffered the loss.

Fernando Castro had a big 3-run home run for the Liberty U-21 in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Philadelphia trailing 6-5 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Dale Petherbridge and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Liberty U-21 on top, 8-6.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Goodman.

With the loss, Plattsburgh falls to 1-4.
