Rogues Get Hard-Earned Win
Tom Grimes added some punch to the Newmarket offense, helping them outmuscle the South Beach Blaze, 8-7. In the game, Grimes went 1 for 1 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Newmarket reliever Nick Elliott picked up the win, raising his record to 4-2. Adam Weijman was tagged with the loss. The last-place Rogues own a record of 19-46.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Grimes hit a cutter from Adam Weijman for a solo home run. The Rogues, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Grimes said.
