The Hollywood Shredders topped the Baltimore Bullets, 5-4, in United States Premier League action at The Hollywood Bowl. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hollywood pitcher Chris Johnston. Mark Sims recorded the save, his 4th. The win gives the Shredders a record of 6-7.

The Shredders took the lead in the bottom of the first when José Vera banged a two-out double. Hollywood had been trailing 1-0, but Vera hit a full count curveball from Justin Brammer for a 2-run double.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Johnston.
