With center fielder Dou-guan Yang leading the charge, the Montana Pandas defeated the Long Island Lighthouse, 7-4, at The Lighthouse. Yang, who is tied for 8th in the SL in doubles with 6, went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Truman Coleman picked up his 3rd save of the season. The Pandas, now 5-15, have not found much traction so far in 2063.

Montana shortstop Tyrone Higgins helped his team with a 2-run single in the top of the second. For the game, Higgins went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Higgins told a Montana Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
