The Chicago Tula received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Martin Schneider, allowing them to bump off the Newmarket Rogues, 3-1. The Tula, at 37-29, sit in third place in the Premier A.

Rafael García, who is tied for 9th in the PA in home runs with 10, took Newmarket hurler Juan Cruz deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Tula on top, 2-1. In all, García had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Martin was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Chicago manager Don Pokorski.
