The Germantown Uruguayans went down to defeat to Tosya Yagudin and his Hicksville teammates. The final score was 4-2, in favor of the Hounds. Raúl Guzmán finished to wrap up his 2nd save. The loss drops Germantown to 2-4.

Hicksville went up, 4-2, on Gerald Jones's 2nd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Jones hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Germantown pitcher Boyd Holohan muttering to himself.

"I thought we played a nice game," Jones told the Hicksville Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
