The Put-In-Bay Commodores got a sterling performance from pitcher Kiyonaga Kondo, but the Delmarva Gallos still prevailed, 1-0. Kondo threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. Delmarva has now won 3 in a row.

Delmarva used the timely hitting of Orlando Núñez to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Gallos on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Núñez. "And not try to do too much."
