Dominant Performance by Johnston in Cut Off Win

The Cut Off Crawdads got a good effort from starter George Johnston in defeating the Lake Erie Arryns at Crawdads Field. The final score was 6-0. The Crawdads now own a record of 34-33.
Johnston, a native of Bellefontaine, Ohio, was dealing all game. He kept Lake Erie hitters off-balance, while giving the Crawdads 7.1 quality innings. Johnston threw 90 pitches, allowing 1 hit and striking out 8.
