In a tight tilt between the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish and the Germantown Uruguayans, James Gray was the deciding factor. The Plattsburgh right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The Puffer Fish raised their record to 5-2.

Maija Meikäläinen had a direct impact on the outcome. Meikäläinen contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Plattsburgh up, 3-1.

"James was dealing," said Plattsburgh manager Mike Carlisle.
