Arryns Notch 5-3 Win Versus Crawdads
|
The Lake Erie Arryns defeated the Cut Off Crawdads, 5-3, in USPL Single A action at Crawdads Field. Lake Erie pitcher Iemochi Ueda had a standout performance. Ueda, now 3-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. The 4th-place Crawdads dropped to 34-34.
Lake Erie used a clutch hit from Keith Bullock to get the win. The center fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Arryns ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a doozy.
"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Ueda.
