The Crowley Cajuns picked up a win at The Zoo, knocking off the Redwood Rhinos, 4-3. Starting pitcher Jesse Blanton was a big reason why. After losing, Redwood is 5-3.

Manuel Noguerola had a big run-scoring double for the Cajuns in the top of the sixth inning. With Crowley leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Pedro Corona and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cajuns ahead, 2-0.

"Bottom line," said Redwood skipper Joe Goff, "we didn't play well enough to win."
