The Fort Knox Centennial racked up a win at Ballpark of Baxter, bumping off the Memphis Music, 8-3. Gabriel Diharce, who started for Fort Knox, pitched effectively for his team. Diharce yielded 3 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 13. His record improves to 2-0. The win gives the Centennial a record of 7-1.

Dane Kennedy had a big grand slam home run for the Centennial in the bottom of the third inning. With Fort Knox trailing 3-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Lewis Smith, who is rated as the 31st best prospect by BNN, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Centennial ahead, 4-3.

"I thought Gabriel threw the ball well across the board," said Fort Knox manager Michael Malloy.
