Blaze Get Clutch Win, 4-3

Fans saw a dandy of a game between the South Beach Blaze and Grim Reapers.
South Beach Blaze starter Charles Siddorn pitched a strong game against the Grim Reapers at The Ballpark on the Beach, leading the Blaze to victory, 4-3. Floyd Schultz, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings.
Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, slick-fielding second baseman Lee Corso had a chance to be the hero. Grim pitcher Brian Rice had other ideas. But with no outs, Corso drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Blaze had themselves a dramatic win.
"This game was intense," Siddorn said, postgame.
At 41-28, the Blaze have a slim two-game lead in the Premier A.
