The Amarillo Warheads knocked off the Hicksville Hounds, 7-4, in USPL Low A action at Hound Pound. Amarillo pitcher and Hsuechia, Taiwan, native Sze Wan had an outstanding performance. Kicham Sassi earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. His record is now 1-0. The win gives Amarillo a record of 6-2.

Amarillo relied on the hitting of Art Vandelay to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Warheads on top, 2-1. For the game, Vandelay had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
