Liberty Handle Mexico City, Snag 6-2 Win

The Philadelphia Liberty locked up a win at Liberty Park, knocking off the Mexico City Blue Demons, 6-2. On the mound for Philadelphia was right-hander Milan Komljenovic. He played a major role in the triumph. Dick Hill earned the save for Philadelphia, his 1st of the year. The Liberty, now 15-6, have been sizzling early on.
Javier Rivera, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Liberty organization, took Mexico City hurler Bhagavan Antle deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the Liberty on top, 2-1. In all, Rivera had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
Rivera told the Philadelphia News: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
