Beavers Knock Off Otters, 2-1

The Northwest Territory Beavers claimed a close win over the Tulsa Otters, due in large part to Damon Bunce. The Northwest Territory right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. The winner was Bunce. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Dave Poole. Héctor Silva picked up the save for Northwest Territory, his 4th of the year.
Sammy Badgett contributed to the Northwest Territory win with a solo home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Tulsa manager Bob Grzelak said, following the tough loss.
