Toros Rally to Win

The Tijuana Toros picked up a win at Toros Ballpark, knocking off the Germantown Uruguayans, 3-2. On the mound for Tijuana was right-hander Kyle Clayton. He played a key role in the triumph. Tijuana reliever Steven Cowan got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Ray Peck was tagged with the loss. Germantown now is 6-4.
Tijuana got a knockout punch from Gary Sharpe. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We took home the win," said Clayton. "What's not to like?"
