The 2060 season is getting uglier for Delmarva.

The Eugene Vandals picked up a win at The Cage, downing the Delmarva Gallos, 7-0. On the mound for Eugene was left-hander Kent Church, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner was Church. He threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Sumiteru Uemura.

Eugene won the game in part because of Duk-yoon Yun. The left fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Vandals ahead, 3-0. For the game, Yun had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Church.

Eugene now sports a record of 37-35.
