Rock 'Em! Sock 'Em! Theissen Blasts 3 Homers in Athletic Club KC Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Athletic Club KC U-21 and Amarillo Warheads.

The Athletic Club KC U-21 powered past the Amarillo Warheads, 8-4, at Ballpark of Henderson. Loflinger Theissen hit 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times, to lead the charge. Picking up the save was Tanzan Jouda, his 2nd.

Theissen contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Athletic Club KC in the top of the third. With his team trailing 3-2, Theissen took a fastball from Lan-quing Xin and stroked the home run to left. His 8th home run of the season allowed the U-21 to leap in front, 4-3.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Theissen told the Athletic Club KC Daily News.

The win brings the U-21 to 4-7, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.
