The Tijuana Toros faced a tough opponent in Hicksville pitcher Jeff LaPierre, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Toros Ballpark by a final score of 5-4 in 10 innings. LaPierre went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The loss puts Hicksville at 7-4.

The Toros relied on third baseman James Hunt for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
