The Caldwell Chiefs and Cut Off Crawdads played an exciting game.
The Caldwell Chiefs topped the Cut Off Crawdads, 4-2, with youngster Len Craft playing a key role. Craft was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Chiefs in the win. Emílio Núñes was credited with the save for Caldwell, his 4th of the season.
The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Craft hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Chiefs into the lead, 3-1.
"I like what I saw today," said Caldwell manager Dan Fletcher, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
Caldwell has now won 4 games in a row.
