The Strip hosted an old-fashioned pitchers' duel.
Paul Ramsey, who is tied for 8th in the SL in wins with 2, was in top form in a tight contest between Las Vegas and Long Island. The Flamingos right-hander helped his team beat the Lighthouse, 2-1. The Flamingos now have a mark of 13-9.
Allen Harris drove in one run for Las Vegas. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Clancy Turner. It was his 6th RBI of the season.
"Winning never gets dull," said Ramsey.
