Hounds Get Clutch Win, 4-3
|
José Muñóz was a major factor in the 4-3 Hicksville win over Hudsonville. The Hounds right fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Todd Rivera was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Michael Elkins. Raúl Guzmán earned the save, his 3rd.
Muñóz had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the seventh, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Hounds went on to win.
"You need to show up when your number's called," said Muñóz.
