Kennesaw starter Cai-fei Teng pitched well against the Put-In-Bay Commodores at Jets Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Ray Peck, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save. With the victory, the Jets record stands at 36-39.

Carlos Brown cracked a home run off Myron Garrett in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run blast put the Jets on top, 5-3. In all, Brown had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
