A 4-RBI performance from center fielder William Kirby led the Crowley Cajuns to a win over the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 12-6. Robbie Kuhn, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 3.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The loss puts Beaumont at 4-8.

Wilber Moore, who is tied for 9th in the PA- in hits with 15, helped out the Crowley cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the pinch hitter drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate.
