Octopi Saddle Cajuns with 4-2 Loss
The Ogallala Octopi rode a solid performance from 20-year-old starting pitcher Rick Hartsfield to a win, beating the Crowley Cajuns, 4-2, at Nebraska Aquarium. Edgardo Cuellar got the save, the 1st for him this season. The loss puts Crowley at 9-3.

The Octopi got a big at-bat from second baseman Pedro Blanca. For the game, Blanca was 1 for 3 with a double and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Ogallala a 3-2 lead.

"My job is to throw quality pitches, go as deep as I can, and give us an opportunity," said Hartsfield.
