Ogallala got a decent performance from pitcher Allen Wagner, but it wasn't enough to beat the Fort Knox Centennial. Fort Knox won the Nebraska Aquarium contest, 6-3. Wagner threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Fort Knox reliever Roberto Cerda picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Edgar Stephenson was tagged with the loss. The Centennial, now 11-1, have been on fire in the early going.

Fort Knox used a timely hit from Nari Crapanzano to get the win. The pinch hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Centennial on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was huge.

Crapanzano called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
