The Put-In-Bay Commodores locked up a win at The Shell, knocking off the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 1-0. On the mound for Put-In-Bay was right-hander Donald Huffman. He played a major role in the triumph. Eric Dalton was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 3 save opportunities. The Commodores improved their record to 33-43 by beating Huntington.

In his 89-pitch effort, Huffman allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 4.
