Hicksville Stays Hot with 1-0 Win
|
Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Hicksville Hounds and Memphis Music.
In a low-scoring game between the Hicksville Hounds and the Memphis Music, pitcher David Ramos was masterful on the mound. The Hicksville right-hander spearheaded his team's 1-0 win. Oscar Moore closed out the game, earning his 4th save.
Mike White, who is tied for 2nd in the PA- in bases on balls with 9, had a direct impact on the outcome. White contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put Hicksville up, 1-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Ramos.
The Hounds, now 9-3, have been sizzling early on.
