A good performance from right fielder Bobby Gross helped the Hudsonville Flanderses defeat the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 7-3. Gross went 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Flanderses. The win lifts Hudsonville to a record of 6-7.

Early in the game, Gross had a 3-run home run for Hudsonville. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Flanderses on top, 3-0.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Gross, "and then get after it again."
