Bush Pilots Rally to Win
|
The Alaskan Bush Pilots beat the Eugene Vandals, 4-3, in 10 innings. Alaskan pitcher and Highlands Ranch, Colorado, native Chris Waters led the way. The Bush Pilots go to 32-46, putting them 9th in the Premier A.
Alaskan used a timely hit from Edgardo Rivera to get the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Bush Pilots ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.
"Chris was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Alaskan manager .
