Crawdads Fall Short, 3-2, at Newmarket

Rogues Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Cut Off Crawdads and Newmarket Rogues.
The Newmarket Rogues scored a tight, 3-2 win versus the Cut Off Crawdads at Rogues Stadium. Newmarket pitcher Juan Zanudo held his own in the contest. Newmarket now sports a record of 35-45.
Sonny O'Mulrooney, who is rated as the 42nd best prospect by BNN, took Cut Off hurler Lapaele Bardo deep in the bottom of the sixth. His 2-run home run put the Rogues on top, 3-2. In all, O'Mulrooney had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Cut Off manager Javier Flores. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
