Chao-yang Yang was a vital contributor to the 9-7 Lake Erie victory over Chicago. The Arryns left fielder was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Cecil Miller picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Daniel Orr took the loss. Picking up the save was 21-year old right-handed pitcher David Cole.

Lake Erie took the lead, 9-7, on Berry Cameron's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Chicago pitcher Daniel Orr in the bottom of the eighth.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Lake Erie skipper Louis Espinosa.

The Arryns raised their record to 49-31.
