The Hicksville Hounds earned a close win over the Flint Crush, thanks in part to Shawn Brennan. The Hicksville right-hander played a key role in the 3-1 victory. Ricardo Gamera, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. The loss drops Flint to 8-6.

Mike White dealt the Crush a blow in the top of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Hicksville leading 1-0, White, who is tied for 10th in the PA- in RBI with 10, hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single.

Hicksville manager Art Manning called it "a darn good win."
