The Northwest Territory Beavers defeated the Germantown Uruguayans, 6-1. Right Fielder Kelsey Verbiest deserved a large share of the credit. Verbiest went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Beavers. The victory makes Northwest Territory 10-4, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2062.

Verbiest had a key at-bat for Northwest Territory in the top of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double. It was his 4th double of the season and gave Northwest Territory an early 1-0 lead.

"I thought we played a nice game," Verbiest told the Northwest Territory Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
