Rickey Montgomery, who is tied for 3rd in the PA in complete games with 1, was terrific for the Kennesaw Jets in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Lake Erie Arryns. His performance earned Montgomery rave reviews. Adam Shirley earned the save, his 19th in 25 tries. With the win, the Jets improved to 45-35.

Ian Stanley had a big 2-run double for the Jets in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Kennesaw trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a slider from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Howard Doss and swatted a double to center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jets ahead, 2-1.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Montgomery said.
