Kennesaw parlayed a decent outing from starter Boyd Holohan into a solid win over the South Beach Blaze. The final score was 4-2. The slumping Blaze have dropped 6 in a row.

Scott Creswell had a clutch at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for the Jets. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Kennesaw trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.

"From the last whatever, five, six, seven games, there's really only one way to go and that's up," said losing manager Gerald Merendino.
