Tula Suffer 3-2 Road Loss

Martin Schneider pitched well, but his team, the Chicago Tula, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Lake Erie Arryns at Arryns Ballpark. Cecil Miller picked up the save, his 3rd. The second-place Arryns improved to 50-31.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Arryns had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when right fielder Walt Meyer hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Martin Schneider and made the score 1-0, Arryns. Meyer was 1-4.
"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Meyer told the Lake Erie Bulletin.
