Big Day for Peters as Gallos Down Jets, 8-2
Delmarva defeated Kennesaw, 8-2, in large part due to 21-year old second baseman Bob Peters. Peters drove in 3 runs. The second baseman had 2 doubles and 1 home run for the Gallos. The save went to Rob Hounsell, his 3rd this season. At 34-47, the Gallos find themselves in 9th place in the Premier A.

Juan Díaz cracked a home run off Alex Nelson in the bottom of the second. His 2-run blast put the Gallos on top, 3-1. In all, Díaz had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Delmarva manager Félix Martínez.
