Baltimore Grounds was the site for United States Silver League action featuring the Baltimore Bullets and Seattle Rocketeers.

The inspired effort of Baltimore second baseman José Clemente was not enough to prevent a loss, 7-5, to the Seattle Rocketeers. Clemente went 2-2 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Rocketeers, at 15-8, lead by one game in their division.

Seattle took the lead in the top of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Ivano Pohvisnev stroked a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Rocketeers.

Pohvisnev told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
