Sammy Badgett had a good game, but he could not keep the Northwest Territory Beavers from falling, 11-9, to the Germantown Uruguayans at Ballpark of Albuquerque. The Northwest Territory center fielder went 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice in the loss. The win belonged to Dan Sawyer in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Héctor Silva took the loss for Northwest Territory. At 10-6, the Uruguayans have played well so far.

Germantown got a knockout punch from Hsin-ta Sun. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
