Uruguayans Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
The Germantown Uruguayans beat the Hudsonville Flanderses, 4-3, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Germantown second baseman Jerry Striker had an outstanding performance. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Flanderses drop to 5-11.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the 11th. With Germantown trailing 3-2, Striker jumped on a splitter from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Neil Snow and hit a 2-run home run to right. With one swing, the Uruguayans had a walk-off win.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Striker.
