The South Beach Blaze grabbed a win, 11-3, over the Grim Reapers at The Coffin. South Beach right fielder Andrés López went 4-5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 times. South Beach goes to 58-25. The win puts them 7 games up in their division.

The Reapers had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Blaze going into the top of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old center fielder Alan Malone came to the plate. Malone hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 fastball from Grim hurler Manuel Muñóz. It was Malone's 16th double of the year.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Malone.
