Thian goes 3-for-4 in Uruguayans Win
The Germantown Uruguayans beat the Redwood Rhinos, 6-2, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. The Uruguayans got a fine performance from center fielder Tse-peng Thian, who was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Germantown reliever Andy Jones got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Ramón Lupercio was tagged with the loss. The win has Germantown at 7-9.

Thian had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch changeup from Ramón Lupercio, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Uruguayans a 6-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Thian.

"I really like what we did out there today," Thian said after the game.
