Hudsonville Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Hudsonville Flanderses beat the Tulsa Otters, 12-10, in 10 innings at Hudsonville Park. Claudio Vargas, in particular, was impressive. He went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, a triple, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Luis Rosário, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. The Otters fall to 5-11 and continue their sputtering start to the 2062 season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bobby Gross in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 3-run home run off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Dudley Farrell to win the game for Hudsonville. The home crowd went nuts.

"That's how to finish a ballgame," said Vargas.
