The Eugene Vandals got a magnificent performance from pitcher Curt Case, who muffled the Newmarket offense en route to a tight, 2-1 Vandals win at The Riot Zone. Case picked up the win for Eugene, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 6-3. The 4th-place Vandals go to 43-40.
