The Cut Off Crawdads beat the Chicago Tula, 4-2, in 10 innings at Crawdads Field. Matt Bowman, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Crawdads, at 40-44, sit in 6th place in the Premier A.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Bowman hit a sinker from Martin Schneider for a 2-run home run. The Crawdads, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Bowman. "I like it."
